Welcome to Art Ba'Aretz
Art Ba'Aretz is a creative platform, where visitors to Israel can produce art as a way of expressing and exploring their Israel experience. No prior knowledge of art is necessary, and every session is unique depending on the dynamic of the group!
As the most multilayered and original tool for self-expression, art at times conveys one’s emotions more effectively than the written word.
Visitors to Israel often only explore their emotions and connection to Israel through formal and informal conversations. However, the true treasures of one's connection with Israel lay deep beneath the spoken word. Our mission is to give lovers of Israel the gift of expression through art!
By integrating approximately two hours of artistic expression and exploration in a fun, relaxing and social atmosphere, participants enjoy creating their own original masterpiece. We will provide the materials including paint, easel and canvas, and instruct the group step by step in painting their own unique experience of Israel, whether they are visiting, serving in the army or celebrating a special event!

Who We Are
Hello, I am Bonnie Katzenstein and I am the founder of Art Ba'Aretz. My goal is to provide visitors an opportunity to create a personal and artistic expression of their Israel experience in a dynamic, social and fun setting. I have a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art and have been teaching art for over twenty-five years. I have been planning art parties for intimate as well as large groups for the past 5 years.
Painting parties have become a popular activity which participants cherish and remember long after the event, and Art Ba’Aretz is becoming a desirable destination on visitors' itineraries.
Let's discuss how we can work together to help others connect art with their Jewish roots and enjoy the beauty of Israel through the lens of an artist.
